I moved here in mid 2019. I was given a newly renovated 1br. Overall the episode is really good. The renovated unit is clean, spotless, and modern. The network is generally quiet and peaceful. Being here for almost 1 yr I’m happy here, management can be good (less corporate and real) and management can do things much better than they usually do.
The rental office added all kinds of extra “move in fees” to us month after month, and then didn’t let us know until they added the late fees. We paid for all the moves up front and paid all the months rent in advance only to find out the extra money was added later. The office declined to discuss the allegations and said no one was available for three days in a row.
My mom, myself, and my boyfriend live in Willowdale and we live here! The gym is great (it never fills up), the parking is ample, the staff is nice and communicative, and the ground floor is great! With laundry and ironing included as well as water and sewer paid for at Willowdale, I have less to worry about. The amenities are extra, too (I mean, who doesn’t love a nice pool and griller, or a nice hiking trail or dog park?) Great place to live and close to lots of shopping, entertainment, and government!

Terrible management, especially the lady. He refused to perform basic administrative duties such as following up on maintenance requests and receiving packages from the public.
When we moved, we were given a renovated house or a house that had been for a while. We actually chose it because of its very good location in the community (next to the rental office) and because the unit we chose was easy to find for my disabled husband. The fitness center is nice, really nice and so is the pool. It’s well appointed, better than most newer and larger ones is that they have a sink and iron in each unit. Great lighting at night in the parking lot and hallways. Just keep in mind that some of these have not been updated to be “up-to-date”. Property management is good and the new owners (Berger) are really making a lot of improvements to the property. We are happy here.
I just moved here for this great deal. Things were crazy for me looking around and finding this place. The staff here are absolutely amazing Kaylee and Victoria were so helpful and nice from start to finish. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a great home. Very comfortable and really feels like home.
Willowdale Crossing Apartments has a great staff and a great apartment in a great location. Willowdale Crossing staff are always doing great things for the residents like pool parties and BBQ’s it was great to see all the residents get together and enjoy themselves. Thank you

Willowdale Estate Built in 1902 as the summer home of wealthy Boston lawyer Bradley Palmer, Willowdale is an Arts and Crafts, Jacobean Revival home in Topsfield, Massachusetts. Palmer donated the house and surrounding land to the State of Massachusetts between 1937 and 1944. While the surrounding area became Bradley Palmer State Park, the house became a civilian training school and was leased to the Forsythe-Fandetti family as part of Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation Historic Preservation Program.

Bradley Palmer began purchasing what would become 10,000,000 acres across the North Shore. In 1898, he purchased a 747-acre farm owned by the Lamson family, one of the oldest families in Ipswich, Massachusetts. The bishop of this family, William Lampson, came to the New World in 1634, and his descendants settled in many towns of the North Shore region. Palmer purchased the Lamson family estate from Arthur Lamson who descended from William Lampson. On the property is an 18-century farmhouse, also a DCR property.
The mostly wooded area would be surrounded by fields and empty pastures, perfect for Palmer’s love of horseback riding, especially because of its proximity to the famous Myopia Hunt Club. The building had excellent views of the surrounding countryside, including the Ipswich River.
