Westco also offers active, creative marketing for its properties.
For financial reporting, Westco uses Yardi Voyager asset management software, a widely accepted asset management software program. Yardi provides a multi-faceted platform that can generate customized financial statements for residential income properties, HOAs and commercial projects. Yardi software provides the ability to monitor and record daily income transactions as well as maintenance requests, tenant payments and many other activities and reports. Through Yardi, we can customize a variety of reports to meet the needs of each property owner. Detailed monthly income and expense reports are provided to all Westco customers by email or letter from the United States.

All accounting transactions are stored electronically in Yardi and DocuXploror software. In addition to those services, Westco staff provide weekly activity reports showing rental collections to date, current vacancies, any past due rents, vacant units, and reporting. visitor traffic. Ken Warkentin is the president of Westco Equities, Inc. and has nearly 40 years of experience in the field of income asset management. He is a licensed real estate broker and in that capacity has been involved in the purchase and sale of thousands of apartments in the greater Fresno/Clovis area. He is also a general contractor and has been involved in the construction of hundreds of apartments and more than 40 single family apartments. He is a member of the Fresno and California Board of Realtors and the Fresno and California Apartment Association. He is also certified in Tax Credit Compliance. He graduated from CSU Fresno with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a graduate degree in education.
Dwayne Welch is Westco’s Vice President of Finance and has been with the company since 1993. Dwayne oversees all financial activities of Westco. He holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Fresno State University and a Sales License from the California Real Estate Department. He is a member of the Fresno Board of Realtors and has over 30 years of experience in accounting, tax preparation and management. He’s a registered agent. He has been involved in accounting and several certified payroll projects. Prior to Westco, he worked as a controller for Hale Brothers Farms and as a business consultant in the Fresno area.
Debbie has been in the apartment management industry for over 25 years, starting with an on-site management position for about 12 years and graduated with a major in external management. She has been with Westco for over 6 years and manages a portfolio including Home Owners Association, Commercial Real Estate, Tax Credit Apartments, Conventional Real Estate, market rates. She takes pride in her team work and assets and most importantly loves her job. She is not afraid to take on any task that is assigned or may come to her.
