Visual Matrix is very user friendly, and in most cases there are multiple ways to do something giving the entire team options.
I believe Visual Matrix could do more to update the program on a regular basis with suggestions from their users. I know this is something they are working on now more than ever.

Comments: Cloud Base is awesome and I love being able to log in from anywhere. Programming rates are very labor intensive and discounts are not as flexible as we would like.

Even with the videos the training was very confusing at first. I found the demo to be difficult because it didn’t reflect how we would use our system. Our old PMS was great for training because it would let you practice in real time without affecting the system.
I love the fact that it helps me do my job. Some functions are very straightforward and easy to use.
Not all of them are really user friendly. You can’t really go back and look at something in the middle of a problem, like a price or anything like that, without going through a million other steps. It would be much easier if you could pull up the original window to see the details instead of processing something. I see “Balance must be 0 before you exit this screen” a lot!

Comments: Overall, Visual Matrix is an easy program to use (compared to others I’ve used in the past; Micro Fidelio, Opera). It is also a robust software in my opinion and provides the necessary functions in an easy-to-use format. When we opened our first Best Western Plus property in 2019, we went from ‘Zero’ to ‘Hero’ in no time using this software. I was in touch with [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] the Implementation Coordinator at Visual Matrix. Who helped set up the software for our new property just a few months ago. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is courteous and very knowledgeable about the product he offers. He always took the time to answer my numerous questions and was always willing to explain the setup process step by step. He also helped coordinate other stakeholders. He really went above and beyond to make the sign up process very easy. I must also applaud the Visual Matrix technical support team. They are also very responsive and ready to help whenever we call with any question. If an agent doesn’t have the right answers to your questions, they politely ask if they can put you on hold and go find someone else who can help. Keep up the good work guys!
Getting around visual metrics is fairly easy. Each function is also easy to find. Most impressive to me is the front office/reservation function. I love the way all the options are placed at the top of the screen to make navigation very easy and seamless. We receive calls daily from guests wanting to book rooms and check availability. You will agree with me that there is a need to have a program that gives you the power to move from one screen to another with the least number of mouse clicks. Visual Matrix integration with our existing business processes has been very easy, I must say. For example, I have the power to run two instances of the program simultaneously. This is very useful if I ever need to provide information to a visitor without interrupting what I was doing on the first page. Now that’s flexibility!
Recently, we have been required to post voucher pre-payments for guests who have not yet booked their stay at all on Visual Matrix. Managing such pre-payments on Visual Matrix was a challenge and the question for me was where to post such payments with no bookings to link them. I would greatly appreciate it if the necessary work that allows us to do this is introduced. There also seems to be an integration issue between Visual Matrix and Intel, our guest WiFi provider, that should be addressed. Our guests are still unable to connect to the hotel wifi using their check in credentials (last name and room number).

Learning is easy with video training provided with visual metrics. Training new staff members is a simple process. I have implemented this property management software on two properties now and our team has adapted quickly. Technical support is friendly and easy to contact.
Revenue management tools are not functional when not a member of Best Western. worked with best western and independent properties; A missed opportunity for independent properties to manage their rates and make the most of the tools provided.
