We are told that the management will tow cars if our tabs are not up to date. Didn’t realize they can say that since they don’t pay my bills. Still waiting on my bedroom carpets to be cleaned since the pipes burst and now mold in the room and living area. No time to fix that but cars can tow…. Edit: So I wanted to stop and edit my review. Changed my one star to three. The management finally solved the issue with mold in my apartment. It’s so much better. There is also a new property manager. It is 100% better than the old one. She is very welcoming and friendly. Valley high flats is a decent place to live.

I live here for 4 years since opening we have so many managers the first one was very good but it was very bad after but now we have a good manager again she is really in the building every day and it’s nice with a smile to talk to her I’m happy thank you

So I live here. I agree with the first two reviews. I have been having problems with exposure to building control. You go to the office the door is always closed no matter what. Not very welcoming. There is a permanent note on the door that he is in a meeting. I have tried emailing and calling still nothing. I’ve never lived in a place where we couldn’t ask a question, yet Randy always seems to get his point/news for us. WONDERFUL. I’ve decided I won’t worry about it anymore. If I can’t get any information about the rent don’t expect money from me.

“Abysmal” is the word that comes to mind when I think of Valleyhigh Flats property management. Nobody lives in the office 80% of the week. It takes several days to hear back from the manager, no matter how urgent the matter. They will certainly send you 3 to 4 notices that your lease is ending despite resigning weeks before. Very poor communication all around. The only positive thing I have to say about this place is that it is a great location.

Debra holds a degree in Real Estate/Property Management and is a Licensed Real Estate Broker most recently employed as the Primary Broker and Vice President of Property Management for a portfolio of affordable, market rate and commercial properties throughout Minnesota. Debra is a Certified Occupancy Specialist in Section 8 and Section 42 housing and is also a Certified Property Manager Candidate through the Real Estate Management Institute. In addition, she has held the position of Dean of RAM through the National Association of Home Builders. As an active member of the Minnesota Multi Housing Association, she has served on the Board of Directors (2014-2016) and was named Outstanding Board Member – 2015, is a former Committee Chair of the Professional Education Committee and serves on the Networking Task Force Career. Krista brings over 10 years of Property Management experience to her role as Regional Property Manager for the Velair Southern Minnesota Portfolio. During this time, she has served in several roles including caretaker, assistant property manager, property manager, and Regional Property Manager. Krista joined the Velair Property Management team in March 2020 and brings experience in Market Rate Housing, Section 8, and Rural Development. Krista also serves as Secretary of Housing Partners, a local non-profit that helps end homelessness in Mankato, Minnesota. She is passionate about finding housing for everyone and believes that comfortable and safe housing is the foundation for a successful life.
