Local real estate firm SRM and local nonprofit housing developer DASH (Downtown Action to Save Housing), with help from Microsoft Corp., today announced a partnership to build 235 affordable housing units in south Bellevue.
The unit will serve households with incomes between 50 percent and 100 percent of the Area Median Income (AMI). The construction site, 4.5 acres along Interstate 405 and near a future fire station, includes a 150-unit hotel that will be completed that will be converted into 100 condos, and another building with 135 units, according to a news release.
SRM has come to the site and, with DASH, will work together on rights changes, permissions, and construction. The site, at 991 118th Ave SE, has already been zoned and permitted for two buildings.
