Rick Wennerstrom Property Management Rentals – Richard E. “Rick” Wennerstrom, 71, of Lancaster passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022 at home, surrounded by his loving family. Born in York, PA he was the son of the late Eric and Beatrice (Storm) Wennerstrom. He was the loving husband of Carol (Harsh) Wennerstrom with whom he shared over 51 years of marriage.
He began his career managing an apartment complex for over 26 years and then started his own business in 2009 known as Rick Wennerstrom’s Property Management LLC. In 2021 he retired and passed the business to his son, Rich, who continues to own and operate it.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Sheri Lynn Heckler (John), son, Richard Douglas “Rich” Wennerstrom (Michelle) both of Lancaster; Also surviving are four grandchildren, John Jr., Devin, Morgan, Rachel and his siblings, Victoria Hess (Jay), of York and David Wennerstrom of Leola, PA; He was preceded in death by his sister, Darlene Wennerstrom.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Interment will be private. Family and friends will be received from 1-2pm at the funeral home on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rick’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Gunveig and Estrid never got the chance to meet him, but what we learned about him would be a worthy person to inherit and take care of his grandfather’s home in Vepo, Finland. Things worked out differently, though.
Johan’s family met him at family reunions in the US. Maj-Gret and Ken also met him and his family.

I learned today of Rick’s passing. I spent many happy hours at Rick’s place, having dated his son Rich for 4 years. My heart goes out to Carol, Rich and Sheri… they are a wonderful family, and I have so many good memories of laughing with them on the weekends when I was in college. I am very sorry for your loss. I worked for the Manor Twp Police for 38 years and Rick was the manager at Conestoga West Apts. He was always very helpful and supportive with the police department and just an all around great guy.
Rick saved our behinds when we first got into rental properties and we were so grateful. Over the years we worked with him we got to know him as a kind, thoughtful and understanding man with the patience of a saint. He was always a pleasure to work with and will be missed. We will keep his family in our thoughts and prayers.
In 2020 Rick let me go to work with my mom everyday. He was the best man I could ever imagine when he left last Saturday I was shocked I love him so much and he did so much for me in the last few years I know he was the best grandpa in my whole life 💔 Senice he is gone you know what i will always love him
