It makes sense to start from scratch with RPMS founder and CEO John Farizell. With just over twenty years of property management experience, John is a true leader who sets the tone for the entire team. John grew up in the Bay Area as the older of two brothers. After graduating from Alhambra Senior High School, he began his career in property management at a local business. He spent the next several years learning the industry and honing his skills. John also married his wife, Noelle, and they had their first child. In 2008, they moved to the San Diego area, eventually landing in Encinitas, where they currently live with their two children.
Over the years, John continued to gain experience in property management and partnerships until 2017 when he decided to start Reliable Property Management Services. Since its launch, RPMS has grown steadily as more and more customers experience John’s high standards of customer service. RPMS’s portfolio now includes more than twenty-five residential and commercial associations and several large professional developments, including the historic Liberty Station in Point Loma, where RPMS has a satellite office to better serve its properties in the central San Diego area.
When he is not working, John likes to attend concerts and sporting events with his family. He is passionate about giving back to the community and has spent much of his spare time over the years as a volunteer coach and board member for local youth sports organizations. Bringing the value of service to his business, John has led RPMS to sponsor several youth sports teams and participate in the Santee Santa program. You will currently find him coaching a 12U football team with the LCC Pop Warner program.

Reliable Property Management Services founder and CEO John Farizell will coach a 12U football team with the La Costa Canyon Pop Warner Association for the 2022 fall season. After many years of coaching with the Friday flag football program Night Lights, John is excited about this new opportunity.
The LCC Pop Warner program launched in the early 1960s as San Dieguito Pop Warner. In 2007, the name and colors were changed to align with La Costa Canyon High School. LCC Pop Warner now serves youth football players and cheerleaders in Cardiff, Encinitas, La Costa, Leucadia, Olivenhain and north of Rancho Santa Fe. LCCPW prides itself on developing “strong, smart, responsible and healthy young men and women” through sports experiences that teach them the importance of values such as teamwork and discipline.
John has witnessed the positive impact of youth sports on his own children, as well as those of the teams he has coached. Over the years, RPMS has been a team sponsor of multiple youth sports programs, including minor league, softball, and soccer. By giving of his time and energy as a volunteer trainer, John believes he can contribute to LCCPW’s mission within the community. He says, “It’s always rewarding to see kids develop their skills and love of the game, but even more so when you work with a show that emphasizes values like the importance of the team over the individual.”

RPMS is pleased to announce the addition of a new member to the team, property manager Nora Johnson. A native of San Diego, Nora is excited to work at the beautiful Liberty Station, where she attended High Tech High.
After high school, Nora studied at Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts and Food Service Administration. After college, Ella Nora took a position with Omni Hotels in New York City and then went on to become restaurant manager for Omni in Boston. Most recently, Ella Nora worked to open a new Omni property near the Vikings practice facility in Minnesota before moving back to San Diego to be closer to her family.
With her background in hospitality, Nora brings a wealth of customer service experience and is sure to prove to be a valuable asset to the RPMS clientele. Nora describes her role at Liberty Station as “preserving the historic integrity and exterior beauty of Liberty Station, while helping to make it as accessible and enjoyable as possible for all visitors and guests.” She appreciates the combination of modern amenities and historical significance.
When she’s not working, Nora is busy studying for her MBA at Point Loma Nazarene University. She also likes to cook, spend time with family and occasionally camp in the roof top tent of her Jeep. RPMS is pleased to welcome Nora to the team.
