When we lived here it was a nice and peaceful place, especially if you have children. There are plenty of safe places to play soccer or bike riding and it’s within walking distance to a small park and pool.
When you first move in the landlord is very helpful, able to contact, answer questions, etc. Once you’ve paid and a problem occurs, or the old “fixed” problem has not been fixed, DO NOT DO IT. wait for the answer. The best way to get in touch is to use an unknown number and the home owner to answer. As far as the building is concerned you can hear everything above you, but if you are on the top floor don’t expect to have less electricity in the summer. They put the thermostat in the worst possible place, drop the old ceiling tiles (broken or leaking), windows don’t stay locked, past water damage is found in many places, and the list goes on. The cost of living here in the conditions you are offered is unreasonable. At first glance, but it only goes downhill from there. Currently the neighbors on the ground floor in our building are no longer able to use their toilet. Why? Because dirty waste is running into the yard where children and dogs play. Toilet paper, feces, and urine are flowing freely even when the landlord responds and sends someone to “fix” the problem. Instead they put a band on it so in six hours the problem starts again. Tried calling the landlord and texting, no answer. They do not solve the problem in the right way to save some money, but instead wait until it gets worse and the tenants suffer. Seriously don’t recommend this or whatever they are/are looking for. Also the only review before mine sounds a lot like management posted it themselves
Great place to stay! Pet friendly, large closets, and lots of outdoor space for the kids to play. Also close to the Great Smoky Mountains and all the fun in Gatlinburg, TN!
