Holly Jones told FOX 46 she walked by the area and everything was fine, but within an hour of her moving in the roaches were rampant.

“Someone told me about this house, $775 a month for three bedrooms. I said, ‘Okay, is it available?’ ‘Yes,’ said Jones.
Jones said she is looking for a home for her and her five-month-old baby. The house had no fridge, no stove, no carpet, but she signed the lease.
“I went to Walmart and picked up some burners, and when I started cooking…’Hey, we’re here!’ A bunch of cockroaches… dozens, over a hundred,” Jones said.

FOX 46 reviewed her lease, which says she’s responsible for any pests found, but it’s clear the cockroaches have been here for a while.
Jones has only been around since Tuesday. She placed and sprayed several bug bombs, but the pests were still there. She said her employer offered her bug spray, which didn’t work either.
Jones signed a lease with Ramsey Properties in Gastonia. FOX 46 also reached out, but they did not return an answer. We left a voicemail.
The Better Business Bureau says the company is not accredited and has an ‘F’ rating with similar complaints to Jones.
