We want to hear from our residents. We are not on site 24/7, so we appreciate it when residents let us know of issues. How big or small you think they are. Not everyone can “do it on your own,” but here are some simple steps you can take to ensure that every request is understood and handled appropriately. A short list of some common problems and how you can help: 1. Outlet not working – Breakers can cause electrical problems in your apartment. If an outlet isn’t working, check the breaker to make sure something isn’t tripped. 2. The toilet is not flushed – simply try to flush. Never flush wipes (even if they say they’re washable or feminine hygiene products). 3. Moisture builds up in the bathroom – Check your bathroom vent and make sure it isn’t plugged with lint and debris. This will ensure proper air flow. To check for functionality, hold a Kleenex or toilet paper and see if there is an air draft. 4. A/C is not continuous – A/Cs have plug-in filters. Check your A/C filter. It helps air flow and function properly. 5. Dryer not drying clothes – Clean the dryer vent every time. This prevents engine build-up and extends life. If not cleaned regularly, the buildup can be dangerous and not work efficiently. Trying these simple things before submitting a maintenance request or calling management can help keep things running smoothly and save time.
