René Decker has over 25 years of experience in public administration. As CEO he led Powerstone to become a recognized leader in management firms in California by focusing on exceptional client service and building a high-quality management team. Rene’ is active in providing guidance to homeowners and developer boards of directors in all aspects of HOA management.
Elva Gonzalez, Cmca, Ams
Rene’ is a multiple Vision Award winner, an active member of the Community Associations Institute and currently sits on the CACM board. He graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications.

Michelle is a CPA with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration (Accounting) from San Diego State University. He brings over 25 years of public administration experience to Powerstone and oversees a team of CPAs and Accounting Professionals in the preparation of monthly financial statements, annual budgets, and all aspects of HOA financial management.
Michelle has served on both the Finance Committee and the Management Firm Council of the California Association of Community Managers (CACM) and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Association of Certified Public Accountants.

Debbie has been in public administration since 1989. His experience has helped him develop a unique understanding of the demands and responsibilities of the property management profession. He is responsible for overseeing operations, training, directing and supporting managers and employees and works closely with landlords and developer boards of directors to provide guidance and training in all aspects of community management. With an emphasis on promoting professionalism and expanding education he served as a board member and former chair of CACM. Debbie has received many awards including the highest honor of the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2007. Debbie is an active member of CAI, the Center for Community Organizations.
Kendrah has spent over a decade redefining what it means to work. He is responsible for providing the superior customer service that Powerstone is renowned for, and is an integral part of the leadership team.
Kendrah is part of the CACM Board of Directors and has been awarded two Vision Awards. Kendrah is also an active member of the Community Association Institute (CAI) and serves as Co-Chair of the Summer Meeting Committee. He attended California State University, San Marcos and the University of Phoenix and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management.

Karen has more than 20 years of civil society legal experience. He is an accomplished strategist and as a member of the leadership team provides due diligence on corporate governance issues and provides extensive training in mitigating clients’ legal liability risks.
Karen graduated from Cornell University and received her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she graduated cum laude in 1990. Mrs. Kannen is an active member of the Community Associations Institute and the California Association of Community Managers. , and a member of the California State Bar.

Joseph Price has worked in the public sector industry for nearly 20 years and is a highly respected veteran in our field. He has extensive experience in the areas of customer satisfaction and retention and has developed many programs designed to help HOAs become the best versions of themselves.
Experienced in mergers and acquisitions, internal and external customer retention, effective team development and building, conflict management, and interpersonal skills. Mr. Price attended the University of the Pacific and California State University in Sacramento majoring in Social Communication.

Elva is an industry professional with over 25 years of experience in providing superior customer service and maintaining positive customer relationships in the communities she serves. As a Certified Association Manager, Elva works closely with landlord board members to provide guidance and training in all aspects of community management. He is a leader in helping boards navigate the HOA Strategic Planning process.
Elva has earned the special certification of Certified Community Association Managers (CMCA) and the designation of Association Management Specialist (AMS). Elva is bilingual in English and Spanish and is a native of Orange County, California.

Amanda has over 10 years of industry experience and knowledge, which she has used to manage the onboarding and account setup of all new clients joining our family. Gavin leads the Northern California office and serves Sacramento and the entire Bay Area including San Jose, Newark, Pleasanton and surrounding communities.
