Unless you’re on a weekend, don’t worry about elevator lines, and even then you won’t find yourself waiting more than a few minutes. With 15 elevators capable of handling 20,310 people per hour, elevator lines are always quick and easy. Most days the mountain sees less than 2,000 people, giving you and your group exceptional time and space to explore the 1,500+ acres of land. The mountain has 162 trails surrounded in all directions by the Elk Mountains, the longest being 2.6 miles from summit to trough. To reach the 12,200-foot summit, you have to take a small step up the Silver Queen elevator.
