Paul A. Ainsworth, director of Sterne Kessler’s Trial & Appellate Practice Group, is an experienced intellectual property trial attorney with a practice focused on patent and trade secret disputes in federal district courts, at the US International Trade Commission (ITC), and before that. In addition to his patent litigation practice, he has also represented leading civil rights organizations on state and federal civil rights issues. In 2011, the National LGBT Bar Association named Paul one of the “Best LGBT Lawyers Under 40” in recognition of his achievements as an IP litigator and his contribution to the advancement of LGBT civil rights.
