Kinsey Builders announced that the second phase has broken ground on Church Street Village, a community of townhomes west of downtown Evanston. The second phase will include eight townhomes, bringing the total number of residences in the community to 40. Evanston 2nd Ward Alderman Peter Braithwaite attended the ceremonial groundbreaking.

Prior to joining Kinsey Group, Keener served as president of Private Holdings Group, a Chicago-based full-service property management firm specializing in condominium management services. Previously, Keener was president of Garrison Partners Consulting, where he helped grow the company from Chicago’s premier sales and residential development marketing firm to a national firm. During his career, he has overseen $1 billion in real estate projects.

Keener will join Steven Maher, partner and Kinsey’s managing broker, and Christine Lutz, who joined Kinsey’s director of residential brokerage in early 2014.

With more than two decades of real estate experience, Maher founded and operates Insight Real Estate Partners, LLC, a Chicago-based real estate sales and marketing firm. There, he led successful sales and leasing programs for development projects in Chicago, St. Louis and Minneapolis. Prior to that, he was with Garrison Partners, where he served as Vice President, overseeing new business development. In his role at Kinsey, Maher leads Kinsey’s brokerage division and developer services division. Development Services specializes in creative disposition strategies for clients’ distressed asset portfolios and implementing a carefully crafted program to meet their objectives. To date, Maher has been responsible for over $1 billion in sales throughout the Midwest.
Prior to her role at Kinsey, Lutz Coldwell Banker/Jennifer Ames was a broker focusing on Chicago’s high-end single-family and condominium market downtown, and before that served as senior vice president of Garrison Partners Consulting. She has overseen more than $1 billion in new construction and transitional real estate projects in seven states.
