Born and raised in Butte, Montana Clay understands and appreciates the many benefits of living in southwest Montana. Clay greatly appreciates all the attractions that Butte and Montana have to offer. When Clay is not helping his clients buy and sell real estate, he can be found camping at Feely or Bernice, RZR riding somewhere in the mountains, playing at Big Hole River, traveling the country attending concerts, or hanging out at all the great restaurants and Pubs in Southwest Montana.

Clay began working in the real estate industry in 2017, where he was an assistant for a local real estate brokerage. In 2018, Clay obtained his Montana Realtor license. Over the next few years, Clay gained extensive experience and knowledge with other brokerages. In 2019, Clay became a local director for the Rocky Mountain Association of Realtors, as of 2019 he serves as the Young Professionals Network (YPN) Chair for the Rocky Mountain Association of Realtors. Clay also served on the Board of Directors for the 2020 MLS Regional. In December 2020, Clay decided to take the next step in his career and became a real estate broker. In 2021, Clay became the Vice President of the Montana Young Real Estate Professionals Network.

Working closely with agents from across Montana and volunteering with the local and state Realtor Association, Clay decided it was time to open his own brokerage. On March 18, 2021, Clay opened Platinum Real Estate. Clay is a firm believer in community and teamwork. Jeffrey worked with the Penske Racing Team during the early 1990s. In 1991, Rick Mears and Team Penske won the Indianapolis 500, marking the pinnacle of Jeffrey’s experience in the sport. In 1993, he left racing, started his career in real estate and married the love of his life, Tina, who is now in real estate with him.
More than two decades later, Jeffrey’s passion for real estate and his family lives on. Having achieved the highest levels of success as an individual agent, he set out to build his own real estate company, Weichert Realtors® Neighborhood One, which opened in June 2013. Two years later, he sold that company to his assistant, broker and friend, Angel Tolosky, to move on to your next challenge. Jeffrey stated, “Everything I’ve learned about real estate comes from a desire and a burning passion to seek out information and knowledge and apply it in a way that is helpful to others. Now I want to coach a team of exclusive agents so that together we can positively touch more lives.”

One of the primary things Jeffrey shares with his agents is that the purpose of real estate is to serve clients to the best of your ability. “In a real estate transaction, if money is involved, you will not last in this business. Jeffrey says, “You get too involved in people’s lives, problems and circumstances for it to be about money. You have to love everyone you deal with to do that. If dollars come first, you’ve missed the point and probably won’t succeed.”
Jeffrey’s real estate knowledge is exemplary and covers a wide range of areas within the industry. He submits real estate articles to the Reading Eagle, his local newspaper, and appears on the local radio show WEEU 830. Jeffrey Hogue states that “writing articles and speaking to the public about real estate is another way to keep your mind sharp, add more credibility to the real estate industry, and share your knowledge with all who are willing to listen.”
Another aspect that separates Jeffrey’s skills from others is his ability to stay on the cutting edge of technology and how it relates to the real estate industry. Jeffrey Hogue subscribes to trend and technology reports that provide the latest information from the biggest innovators and top people in real estate. Jeffrey takes it a step further by teaching himself how to develop websites and consulting for real estate technology companies.
Jeffrey is also a professional photographer. Real estate magazines around the world have published some of his work. “I take architectural photography seriously.” He owns a bucket truck that has a 40-foot boom extension to get the best photos possible. The truck has been featured on Photography for Real Estate.com, Zillow.com and other publications. “I call myself a director of first impressions.” A photo of a home is often what a potential buyer sees first. Capturing the attention of the masses is achieved with great photography.” Jeffrey has taken the time to become an expert in architectural photography, and this is one of the talents that his clients truly appreciate.
