PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW AND AVOID THIS BUSINESS. James, the owner of Imperial is one of the least professional business owners I have ever come across. To keep it short and simple, James gave me a great price on the annual lawn show. Overall I would give the actual job he did a 5/10. Not great but not horrible. I think he has some learning/research to do on lawn products, diseases/bugs, as there are clear deficits and some of my neighbor’s yards who don’t even have services have nicer yards, but that’s not the point of this review. .
I just got tired of so many unreturned phone calls. So I called this AM to politely ask for a refund and left a message as I always do. James called me again acting crazy. He was yelling, cursing and literally acting somewhat psychotic. For over 5 min I heard a barrage of insults non-stop as she talked about “customers like me” and went on and on with a very pushy and demeaning attitude. I tried to get a word or two to try and calm him down, but it was no use. I was finally able to say a few things as I was predominantly disappointed by their lack of communication etc. Their response was that they took November off (and apparently they turn off the phones and don’t return calls)? And that I wasn’t being reasonable for wanting a perfect garden. (Isn’t that why people hire lawn companies?).
It is absolutely inappropriate for a business owner to treat a customer the way he did over the phone. I paid for the entire year of treatment and still had 3 or 4 treatments due to me but I’d rather lose that money than allow this man back on my property as I honestly don’t trust him not to use a lawn killer. instead of fertilizer after how angry he was and the way he was talking to me. Would you want someone like that working on your lawn? All I did was politely ask for a partial refund for the treatments he didn’t complete.
James and his group were punctual and provided excellent service. We appreciate the groups that carry out the work in a timely and professional manner. We will use this pool for our future landscaping needs.

James and his crew do an excellent job. They just treated my lawn for weeds and clovers, they also mulch, seed and fertilize and lime as needed
