“Chalk Walk” in the Park, presented by Frost Van Den Boom, PA, was Polk County’s first professional chalk art event; And it was an amazing two days of art that disappeared in Bartow, the capital of Polk County.
Patel, Greene & Associates, PLLC, The Ledger Media Group and Hall Communications also helped bring a new art event to Bartow’s Central Crossroads – Fort Blount Park last weekend.
Professional chalk artists who came from as far away as Georgia, Virginia, Indiana and Mexico used Bartow’s sidewalks to create some of the most intriguing masterpieces you’ve ever seen painted on concrete.
The woman behind the movement to revive the chalk masterpieces in Bartow is Bartow City Commissioner Trish Pfeiffer, an artist and art supporter. Bringing the first idea to Main Street in Bartow a few years ago, Pfeiffer worked hard to make his dream a reality. understood. Thousands of visitors were rewarded for her hard work and the hard work of Main Street Bartow and the Bartow Art Guild.
Our Story — Robinson Property Solutions
Fort Blount Park last weekend was a place where you and your family could see a unique art form, and your kids were encouraged to participate by painting their own masterpieces. The creative atmosphere of the arts brings out the best in all of us, Pfeifer noted. And if you hurry, you can still catch it before the rain comes!

212 Towhee Rd is a house located in Polk County and the 33881 ZIP code. This area is served by the regimental attendance zone.
Located about 15 miles from downtown Winter Haven, the Lake Wales neighborhood considers itself ordinary, but in a good way. No place defines this more than Spook Hill, where objects actually move uphill rather than down.
When you own a condo on Lake Wales, you feel like you’re living right in the middle of history. There are several historic attractions in the neighborhood, including Bok Tower Gardens, a great place to relax and unwind, and the Depot Museum, great for railway enthusiasts.
Slate Rock Dr, Lakeland, Fl 33811
Of course, when there’s a lake in your neighborhood, it’s naturally the main hangout. Lake Wales will not disappoint, whether you want to go boating for the day or just cast a line from the fishing pier. If you can’t catch anything, you can always dine at Crazy Fish Bar & Grill, an eclectic, casual restaurant that fits in with the rest of the neighborhood.
212 Towhee Rd is 9 minutes or 3.3 miles from Polk State Coll, Winter Haven. It is also close to Polk State College, Lakeland and Florida Polytechnic University.
School data provided by GreatSchools The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools across the state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 to 10 (below average) and may include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline, and attendance data. We also encourage parents to visit schools, review other information about school operations and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
