The staff working at this amazing company are the best ever. This is by far the best decision I made when it came to my house and I decided to use Great Jones. The company is professional and very polite, letting me know every single thing there is.

Please believe me when I say that every 1 star review is absolutely true. Terrible company with the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. My entire stay at my rental was marked by negligence. Now that it’s over, they’re charging me $3,000 in “damages” – even though I had the house professionally cleaned and left it almost EXACTLY as I found it. My favorite “damage” is a photo they sent of leaves in the yard citing $500 landscaping damage. Hahaha. My attorney just started going through their paperwork so we can sue them and has already found several errors where it’s obvious they don’t even know what South Carolina law is. Comical! Notable mention: They also had more turnover in their staff than any company I’ve ever seen. Every time I email the last person I talked to, it’s a new person who replies and says “So-and-so is no longer with us, but I’m new and I can help you!” Believe all the horrible reviews! Run away!

St. Louis Parks: Confluence Point State Park
A long review but worth reading… One star is way above what this company should be rated. They say they are a “property management company that works to make every property profitable and worry-free”, this couldn’t be further from the truth. From the first day I had problems. They have NO communication with their tenants and you will spend more time on hold, hang up or be on any phone extension and still have no answers or a solution to the problem you are having. Sewer running into the yard and backing up into the house, roof leaks, days to weeks without hot water, mold, bugs, no HVAC upstairs, rude maintenance employees (oh watch out if they find additional problems when they eventually do find problems additional) to show up to help with a maintenance need I CANNOT tell you about the PROBLEM to include mold and other health hazards) the HVAC was simply a hole in the floor with nothing connected to it. The HVAC ducts that were connected were only attached to one side of the house and were also left uninsulated, causing mold and moisture to destroy the house and everything in it, including our health. If you complain, you will be ignored. And when you finally get the opportunity to move out and be done with this money hungry company, they will charge you astronomical amounts for things that are out of their control. We were charged for STICKS IN THE YARD, dust after move in (because of their poor excuse for HVAC) and you will walk away with the added bonus of enough medical debt to carry you for the rest of your life. If you intend to, or are currently dealing with GJ, do yourself a favor and GET A LAWYER, you will need one. Document EVERYTHING, they will deny everything, you have your proof! The entire company must be shut down. The public index will also give you all the information you need when deciding whether this is the best company to give your families money and well-being to. It’s public knowledge, do yourself a favor and do the research I wish we had!
Update: I moved into this house March 12, 2022. The trees in this yard are almost twice the height of the house and haven’t been trimmed in YEARS. These greedy people are stupid enough to allow their tenants to cut down the trees hanging on their roof. Finally they said they would have someone come out and check on the SINGLE TREE, not all three trees, and IF it was rotting, they would cut it down, but otherwise I think I would be responsible. The magistrate told me absolutely not to touch the big trees that threaten the structure of the house. NOTHING BUT GREED!
The company can’t seem to find an AC repair in SC that will come to this house in less than 11 days… ABSOLUTELY INCOMPETENT! SC has more AC repair services than you can shake a stick at! They were informed at the time I placed the work order that I have a nervous system condition that gets much worse in the heat and marked the work order as “Urgent” but did not even assign a service provider for two days and then they scheduled the appointment for June 23rd… and told me to turn the unit off until then. I am expected to live in this house for 11 days with the temperature rising to over 100 degrees. It looks like they want to kill me!
The yard is completely dead from the lack of outside water and they said, “we’re not going to install an outdoor irrigation system”… What in God’s name are these morons talking about? I said I needed a FAUCET. These greedy people are again trying to get me to take responsibility for changes to this structure that no tenant should ever have to make and they don’t care that the environment for the tenant and the entire community is negatively affected by a rotting dead body. yard shows exactly who I am! GREEDY TO THE BONE! They don’t care about the property or the community and they absolutely do not care about the tenant or the pets in the house! Telling me it’s my responsibility to take care of the yard and yard extermination while they make it COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE TO DO WITHOUT PROVIDING AN OUTSIDE WATER SOURCE! There is also no outside electrical source to allow a tenant to properly run the property!

The house is infested with large spiders and I have been bitten four times in the last two weeks. The house is infested with spiders because tree limbs have been hanging over the roof for years. The attic has molded insulation and the top space has not been exterminated in YEARS. This is their idea of MOVE-IN READY! They are nothing but greedy people trying to steal money to upgrade their property at the tenants expense! They still haven’t scheduled anyone to look at the “tree” or fix the MUCER in the attic.
