About 65% of the complex will be three- to four-bedroom units, encouraging families to seek affordable housing, SAHA’s head of real estate and asset management, Tim Alcott, said at the grand opening.
Most units are priced at 60% of AMI, Alcott said, with 8,793 people qualifying for the area, according to a market study. About 2,300 people in the area qualified for units at 30% AMI.
“You’ve got a family complex here that’s being built for working families, and we need more of those to keep people coming to San Antonio,” Alcott said.
Jason Arechiga, senior vice president of development for NRP’s local office, says most of the units are more than 70% leased, but units are still being built on the property.

Liverpool-based independent property company LPS Real Estate has snapped up Maison Lettings in a strategic move that will support the growth of its lettings and management activities.
As part of the acquisition, LPS will take over a property portfolio that has been successfully let and managed by independently owned Maison Lettings for the past 10 years.

The properties, which are predominantly located in the South Liverpool area and consist of houses, flats and HMOs, will be added to LPS’s already extensive rental portfolio and managed under the LPS brand.
Joe Gervin, director of real estate at LPS, said the acquisition made sense not only for them, but for the tenants and landlords involved.
He commented: “You often see smaller agencies being snapped up by bigger companies these days, so as a growing independent we’re excited about this opportunity. Moving a portfolio from one independent to another, which usually has more flexibility than companies, makes the transition easier for everyone involved.”

Rachel Gervin is at the top of her game as the North American subsidiary of Sage Software, Inc., a UK-based company with over six million customers and 13,600 employees worldwide. senior vice president and general counsel.
