GCG farmers are horticulture experts and passionate educators who teach all skill levels in an easy way. Programming combines hands-on agricultural tasks, group discussions, and direct instruction. We teach people how to grow their own food at home or in the community. Residents will learn best practices for growing delicious vegetables and fruits and better understand what healthy eating really means.
Grown products can be distributed in different ways, all of which are made possible by GCG. Many companies choose to send products home with participants, while others donate to local food rescue organizations we partner with. We can also work with your food service provider to integrate harvested produce into your building’s restaurant offerings or work with an independent on-site restaurant. You can choose more than one option for your property.
