This rental was great for our needs and had plenty of space. We were two blocks from the beach where we could walk and it wasn’t too crowded compared to the nearby hotels down the road. Bay was just outside the back door so it was set up for nice evenings on the deck. The beds were not great but what compares to your bed at home. The teacher was like a sheet of plywood and the guest was a soft pillow. It’s great that this place is dog friendly but be careful with a lot of drinks on the property since it’s a national beach. We walked our dogs to the side of the walk and took them to the nearby dog parks. There are plenty of food places, souvenir shops nearby, groceries and other mainstays over the bridge which is a 20 minute drive away. Nice property overall and we would stay again if we were in Pensacola.

We enjoyed our stay during spring break! The house has a beautiful view of the bay and a short walk from the ocean side! The house had everything we needed. I would recommend a rack or cart to put groceries on, but it’s not a bargain! We will be back!! Thank you

Pros: Amazing rental company and service, short walk from the bay or the beach; The bunk beds in the basement were great for two teenagers; Well stocked kitchen The bikes on site were a big help; Love the wrap around balcony, lots of parking.

Cons: As mentioned by previous reviewers, owners need to install black-out curtains in the front bedrooms to block out the light; slight noise from walking on a good road; There is no bathroom downstairs, so the bunk rooms share the upper bathrooms; The climate varies from top to bottom by 15 degrees.

This is our second year here and we love this home. We have already decided to return next year. The property is centrally located and a great neighborhood for walking the dog. This house is very suitable for family and dogs.

The location is excellent, with the bay at the back of the house and the beach a block in front of the house. We biked to the boardwalk on Christmas evening, which only took about 6 minutes, and it was amazing. We really had a wonderful stay.

Great house with lots of extras! The bedrooms were spacious and downstairs was perfect for our kids! He gave us space as well for everyone! He had a great patio wrapped around two thirds of the house so we could barbecue and hang out at all times of the day!

Our stay was wonderful! The house was equipped with everything we needed. The cooking utensils were big enough to feed a lot of people too! The wrap around balcony was excellent for watching the sunset and conveniently located in the small sandy area on the sound. The only drawback was that the check-in was at 5pm and the check-out was at 10am and it felt like we were missing a day with this. The place had no hand soap in the bathrooms (it wasn’t a big deal we bought some). Also, if the staff you check in seem like they couldn’t be bothered more, don’t let that stop you from staying here! There was a nice lady who finally spoke in a nicer way!

The house was perfect for us! We loved the site. The house was very clean. We used the kayaks and bikes every day. The bikes were in good condition. We took our dogs with us and there was a dog beach a few miles east which we loved. I think the house needs new outdoor chairs because they have a lot of rust but other than that we loved the house. We will stay here again!

This home is well equipped with everything you need for a great vacation….well equipped kitchen, nice flat screens in every room, bikes in the garage and even a kayak! Our adult nephew stayed with us so the split master suites were nice. This was our first trip with French Bulldogs and they did a surprisingly good job. As mentioned in other posts, the labels are poor in the area so we had to check inside the pads every time they were outside.
This was a great experience staying at this property. The location is close to the public beach, restaurants, shops etc. The house was fully equipped to meet our needs. The soundside view was great. Will definitely visit again.
