Equinox Property Management Reviews – Jonathan started Equinox over 20 years ago with his tool belt and a few one-page leases from the back of the land tenure ledger. Since then, he has grown Equinox into a fully integrated real estate development, property management, general contracting and property services company. He is passionate about how cities grow and develop and feels fortunate to work with the human-made environment as Philadelphia experiences its current renaissance. He is also extremely proud to have followed in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, who were also entrepreneurs in Philadelphia.
Jonathan was also the founder of Tree House Books, a nonprofit literacy center in North Philadelphia, and recently co-chaired the Impact Development Council at the Urban Land Institute. Jonathan holds a BA from Amherst College and an MA from the University of Pennsylvania.

Greg began his career as an engineer and project manager working on the design and construction of large pharmaceutical, high technology and institutional projects. He learned and embraced the fundamentals of project execution at an early age and applies them to all the work he takes on. As his career progressed, Greg fell in love with the development process and participated in or led development in the multifamily residential, hospitality, high tech and mixed-use markets.

As Senior Vice President of Development and Construction at Equinox MC, Greg is responsible for leading his team on projects through concept, feasibility analysis, pre-engineering, pre-construction and construction. He ensures that every project is organized and focused on meeting or exceeding our clients’ expectations. Greg has been in the industry for over 40 years and has developed a strong passion for the human-made environment. He graduated with honors and earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Villanova University.
Starr has been part of the Equinox team since 2008 and has served in various roles with a focus on property management, marketing and sales. She loves all things real estate and is especially passionate about how real estate can change communities and lives.
When she’s not working on another renovation project, Star enjoys spending time with her husband, a golf pro, and their three children.
Pete is one of our Project Managers and comes to us with over 14 years of experience in the construction industry. He participated in projects worth 100 million dollars. USA and managed projects worth 35 million dollars. His experience in project evaluation and control, as well as his understanding of project scope and construction capabilities, are particularly valuable during the pre-construction phase of our projects. Pete is instrumental in helping us continually improve our processes and guidelines. Pete graduated from Drexel University with a BS in Civil Engineering with a focus in Project Management. As a local, he is passionate about his neighborhood and community. Pete is a big sports fan, enjoys watching baseball and traveling with his wife.

Bill is our Director of Procurement and has over 35 years of experience managing people, projects and resources in government and the private sector. At Equinox, he handles multiple responsibilities, including procurement, sourcing, contracts and long-range planning. He is responsible for developing and managing our strategic alliances with subcontractors and suppliers.
In his spare time, Bill can be found traveling the country in an RV with his partner in life, Karen, and their children, or at home rooting for Philadelphia sports teams. Little known fact: Bill is an ASA/USA certified judge; in his tenth year, averaging 100 games a year behind.
Jeff is the Equinox Project Manager. He has been working in multi-family and mixed-use properties for just over 12 years, all in Class A projects. This experience includes many years of experience in real estate and marketing, design, construction and post-delivery. He holds degrees in Civil Engineering (BS), Architecture (BS of Arch Studies), and Interior Design (MFA). He works diligently to continually improve our overall quality control and warranty processes. He loves college football, culinary adventurism, fashion, and pretty much anything Star Wars, and has two standard poodles named King Cooper Reese and Sir Curly Jefferson.
Octavian is a project engineer and performs several functions at Equinox, including managing field operations or project documents and controls. Octavian is committed to excellence and continuous improvement, whether in submissions, RFIs, field supervision, or cost tracking for his projects.

Alex is a project manager at Equinox. As a licensed architect and passive house consultant, he has nearly a decade of experience designing large-scale mixed-use and multifamily housing projects across the country. His experience in creative problem solving, blueprint evaluation, and building code interpretation brings a unique skill set to the Equinox team. In addition to his role as project manager, Alex scrutinizes our projects for opportunities to optimize and improve the quality, durability and affordability of every project we design or build.
Alex lives in Philly’s Francesville neighborhood, where he spends most of his time renovating a century-old row house. He enjoys playing the piano, gardening, and trying new restaurants with his wife. Alex is also an active member of the AIA, ULI, and the Community Design Collaborative.
Corey has nearly 10 years of experience in the development and construction industry and has been involved in everything from land transactions to luxury residential renovations. His primary experience is in project management of large-scale multifamily residential projects here in Philadelphia, and includes projects ranging from 3 to 16 stories and up to 310 units. He is well versed in all aspects of project management, including cost and schedule control, as well as rigorous quality and safety management of over $130 million worth of work. He has worked on the developer side his entire career, so he has a unique understanding of our developer customers’ perspective. He is an experienced and effective team member.
Stephen joined Equinox as an Assistant Project Manager and has many years of experience in curtain wall systems for large high-rise buildings. After earning his bachelor’s degree in business and engineering from Drexel, Stephen worked in Manhattan and Philadelphia on several large-scale projects. With his field and office experience, he is well versed in field operations documentation control, submissions, information requests, field supervision and project control. He is eager to take on any project that is put before him and loves our problem-solving business.

Steven lives in Northern Liberties where he spends most of his time exploring the city, golfing in and around the Philadelphia area, and playing/watching various sports.
Gary joined Equinox in early 2021 as a project engineer and brings over 10 years of international construction industry experience to the team. Gary’s roles and responsibilities offer key administrative support to senior management at every stage of the project lifecycle. With a versatile and flexible approach to every task and process, Gary’s work ethic helps build good working relationships with teammates, clients, subcontractors and various stakeholders. The industries in which Gary has worked range from residential construction, retail, infrastructure, government and historic preservation.
When he is not in the office, Gary enjoys exploring nature and learning more about the ecological discipline of bushcraft. Gary also holds a Bachelor of Architecture and an MBA from Philadelphia University, as well as a Masters in Construction Project Management from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.
Larry is our Quality Control Manager who diligently ensures that our projects meet or exceed our clients’ quality goals. His attention to detail and tenacity are evident as he walks through projects at various stages of construction to verify that our subcontractors are following the blueprints and specifications as they perform their work. Larry also manages our warranty program.

Jim is a superintendent and comes to Equinox with years of experience managing project field operations. He manages his team of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure they meet our schedules and our quality expectations. He also coordinates site logistics, interactions with city agencies and utilities, neighborhood relations, and of course, making sure we meet our customers’ expectations.
Michael is a Superintendent at Equinox and has been in the industry for over 22 years. He started working in a furniture store in high school and developed an attention to detail that has kept him to this day. Michael is diligent in meeting project schedules and quality objectives and leaves no stone unturned when it comes to exceeding expectations. His leadership of our security program is no exception. Outside of Equinox, he is an avid golfer and also enjoys spending time modifying his diesel trucks.
Alan Kreutzberg is a senior superintendent at Equinox. With over four decades of experience, he has worked on major international and domestic projects. Alan has held numerous roles throughout his career, but being a Residential and Permitting Engineer gives him an incredible understanding of the workings and structure of a municipality. Alan continues to dedicate himself to achieving a high level of quality and professionalism in all aspects.
