Elon Property Management Lawsuit – Twitter ( NYSE:TWTR ) stock fell 5.3% in the aftermarket after Elon Musk said he was canceling his $44 billion deal to buy the company.
An SEC filing from Musk’s advisers says that on Friday, they sent a letter to Twitter giving formal notice that it was canceling the merger agreement.

Tesla stock ( TSLA ) is higher after hours, +1%; Digital World Acquisition Corp., the private equity firm that brings Donald Trump’s Social Reality public opinion, is up 13.5 percent in the aftermarket.
Musk’s team also claims that it has been blocked in trying to get the necessary information from the company: “For almost two months, Mr. Musk has sought the necessary data and information to conduct an independent assessment of the spread of fake or spam accounts. Twitter Platform ‘will’ … Twitter did not provide or refused to provide this information. Sometimes Twitter ignored Mr. Musk’s requests, sometimes it refused for reasons that do not seem legitimate, and sometimes it claimed to be present when Mr. Musk gave the information. incomplete or unusable.”
Musk “has reason to believe that the actual number of fake or spam accounts on the Twitter platform is significantly higher than the figure of less than 5% that Twitter represents in SEC filings,” the Musk camp continues. “The real number (daily active users that can be monetized) is a key component of the company’s business, as 90% of its revenue comes from advertising.”

What’s first? Twitter executives reiterated this week that they fully intended to complete the deal, so barring a settlement, this massive deal appears headed for a major court date.
Musk, who is in Sun Valley, Idaho, arrived at the Allen & Co. conference Thursday night. On Saturday morning, he will replace industry titans such as Warren Buffett as the marquee speaker on the final day of the conference. Then he can settle the contract or not. Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal is also there.
Update 5:43 p.m.: Musk’s $44 billion deal calls for him to pay $54.20 per share for Twitter (TWTR). With the stock down 7.1% after hours to $34.21, the current price is a 37% discount to Musk’s offer — the largest consensus spread since Musk announced it. DWAC is now up 14.6%; TSLA + 1.2%.
Update 5:53 p.m.: Twitter ( TWTR ) CEO Bret Taylor is speaking out. “Twitter’s board agrees to close the transaction on the price and terms agreed upon with Mr. Musk and plans to pursue legal action to enforce the merger agreement. We are confident that we will prevail in the Delaware Supreme Court.” .”

The maintenance crew at catwood homes in kettering ohio let the rebar up to 12 inches above the parking blocks damage my truck while i was visiting a friend there and i can’t get them to fix the damage or return my phones. Why does Elon Management advertise their apartments for as little as $550 monthly rent, then nickel and dime you with all sorts of small fees; application fee $40; shipping fee $350; Utility account setup fee $55; Gas/Electricity Processing Fee etc. etc. If they can think of a fee they will pay it. After 9 months of paying, I was late one day and there was a deportation notice on the door. They wouldn’t work with me, even though I could pay in full 2 days later.

They refuse to do regular maintenance because of “COVID”!!! But they will try to break into your apartment for an “occupancy check” the day after the rent you forgot.
