We’ve had a rough experience since moving in with our cats last summer. A big part of that is having a friendly and active supervisor on site and always available.
Also, a great asset to access the adjacent park, downtown 10 minutes to the 401, and historic Galt is a short walk away.
If you are looking for a place with spacious rooms, solid walls, reasonable rent, close to the freeway, close to downtown, and pet friendly, take a look at Kingswood Estates. The caretakers are very nice and always there when you need them. They will also walk you through everything when you apply for a toilet.
I live at 277 Anderson Ave in Oshawa. I had to move from my own house to a room. I am concerned about the safety, cleanliness, public areas of the building, etc. Our caretaker Bob has been a role model – he keeps our house neat, clean, and has a great personality. We all feel like family here.

After living at 360 Hoffman St for almost two years, we have had nothing but positive experiences. Amy the manager makes sure the house is comfortable and helped solve any problem we had. Everyone in the room is nice and makes it look good. It was a blast when the minute was picked up, we could all stand in the hall and talk to each other.
I have been renting here for over four years now. I don’t have any problem. The interior is clean and well maintained outside. There has been continuous improvement throughout my stay here. Although the house looks tough from the outside, the houses are comfortable inside.
Definitely one of the cheapest 3 bedroom units to rent in Barrie, especially since the unit has two floors. The property manager is also on top of any repairs that are needed. He is friendly and resolves any issues promptly. I have enjoyed my time here with friendly and considerate neighbors.

Everything Linda, the caretaker, promised me (new floors, carpet, bathtub, screen for doors, closets, and lighting) was in place when I moved in. I didn’t leave for five weeks and when I came back.
