After school, Robbie worked for real estate developers WJ Vakos & Co. and Management Services Corp., where he was responsible for commercial leasing, construction and property management. He then rolled up his sleeves with current partner Ian Wren and founded Real Property Inc. and purchased Property Management of Virginia. After a period of significant growth, both management companies were sold and the Building Management Company was formed. Robbie is a Class A general contractor and real estate broker with over 30 years of experience in real estate development, construction and management. Ian graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts before entering the real estate industry. Reed holds a Bachelor of Arts from Washington and Lee University and a Master’s in Urban Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia, School of Architecture. Reed thrives on the multi-variable complexities that make every real estate project unique. His ability to conceptualize development opportunities and turn them into viable investment opportunities means that for over ten years he has amassed a large and profitable portfolio of multi-tenant, commercial, multi-family and industrial properties located throughout Virginia. As a partner with The Building Management Co. and BMC Holdings Group, Reed oversees the property development and analytics activities of the corporation.
