“The most important thing for us was to ensure not only continued operations, but that our team remains in place and that we maintain our long-standing relationships with property owners and residents,” Blank said. “We’ve built so much trust with the people of Dodson over the years and we know this move is the right one for all of us at Berkeley Realty Property Management.”
Dodson was founded in 2007 and serves single-family and multi-family residential as well as commercial clients with the management of day-to-day operations involving leasing and property ownership requirements in Virginia. The acquisition of Berkeley marks the eleventh acquisition for the company in recent years and also the fourth in the association management space.
“Berkeley is the established and respected leader for single-family and HOA management in the Greater Williamsburg region,” said Duke Dodson, owner of Dodson Property Management. “This is a tremendous opportunity for our team to partner with Berkeley as Pam and Ed move on to retirement and new ventures. We bought the best property manager and association in Williamsburg and look forward to continuing and growing.”
