International Workplace Group And Apple One Properties Inc. Redefines Commercial Real Estate In The Visayas
The six cities identified are Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, Dumaguete City, Iloilo City and Bacolod City. Kenly strongly believes that the partnership will strengthen the economy in the region by creating more jobs inside and outside the centers. Kenly goes on to say that centers in major business districts will also improve productivity and provide more opportunities for local residents. API’s Rey Manigsaca is very excited about the partnership as the services and office market is a very large untapped market and with the IWG partnership Manigsaca believes they can bring world-class facilities and workspace flexibility benefits to the region.
Lars Wittig considers that the reason why Visayas has the highest potential in the country is because of its ever-advancing economy; and, as the capital region becomes too congested, businesses move to the central Philippines. Additionally, access to the central Philippines is much easier with its state-of-the-art international ports and airports, making logistics much easier in the area. Wittig also expresses his gratitude to the politics and government administration in that place because it is very supportive of businesses.
The six API and IWG centers will join the global IWG network of 3,400 centers in 120 countries. In the Philippines, IWG has 28 centers in ten cities in Metro Manila, Clark, Cebu and Davao. With the upcoming six centers in the Visayas, API and IWG are sure to make the region Southeast Asia’s newest business and trade hub.
