Al Elam Property Management – Zach is a Nashville, TN, native raised in the West Meade area and attended Ensworth Elementary School and Montgomery Bell Academy for high school. After graduating from Furman University in Greenville, SC, Zach headed down to Northwest Florida and jumped right into real estate sales, development and management in 2003. He started Coastal Properties Company which was a full property and community management service company and operated until 2015 .when it was acquired. In 2009 he founded Metropolitan Properties and was able to move home full time in 2015 to operate the company.
Originally from California, Todd moved to Nashville in 2010. After graduating college with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, Todd began his career in the commercial construction industry. Over time and after various roles in project management and supervision, Todd transitioned to the property management industry. During this phase of his career, Todd has held positions in sales, leasing, commercial property management, association management and leadership. In his current position, Todd leads the Operations team at Metropolitan Properties focused on delivering fast and accurate administrative services with the goal of supporting MP’s accounting and management staff.

Originally from Jackson, MS, Haley moved to Nashville in 2015. She graduated from the University of Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications. Metropolitan Properties hired him in January 2017 as Assistant Director of Operations. Currently, she is the Operations Administrator/Marketing Director and enjoys being able to tap into the marketing skills learned in her undergraduate studies. Haley loves cooking, attending concerts, hiking the beautiful mountains of TN, and spending time with friends and family.

Originally from Shelbyville TN, Jamaica joined Metropolitan Properties after completing her undergraduate studies at MTSU. Jamaica became the company’s Receptionist, which allowed her to fill many roles throughout the company. He is also responsible for managing a portfolio of rental properties, where he prides himself on excellent tenant care. Outside of work, Jamaica enjoys playing sports, outdoor adventures, and being with friends.
Jennifer is a native Tennessean from East TN, who has been in Nashville for many years. He is an expert in his field, holding nationally recognized CMCA, AMS and PCAM certifications, as well as graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. to manage long term rentals and most recently managed the HOA for the last 20 years. His specialty is reading HOA documents and handling challenging meetings.
David joined Metropolitan Properties in 2013 and brings over 10 years of retail and wholesale mortgage experience as well as a real estate sales background to the company. Originally from Memphis, David attended Millsaps College in Jackson, MS. He moved to Nashville shortly after graduation to join his family’s real estate firm. He and his wife Amy have 2 daughters and he is very involved in various civic and non-profit organizations in Nashville. When she’s not running to one of the women’s sporting events on the weekend, she enjoys volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and Room in the Inn through her Church.
Originally from East Tennessee and originally from the Tri-Cities area (Kingsport / Bristol / Johnson City), Sue moved to Knoxville in 1985 and calls it home. Sue comes from an entrepreneurial family background which has prepared her for a property management career path. She continues to manage the family’s commercial/residential properties. Sue brings 25+ years of commercial/residential property management experience in the Eastern TN region, and strong financial acumen. He has held several executive positions throughout his professional career that have provided him with opportunities for growth and development, and the opportunity to make a significant impact on his clients. Sue prides herself on providing the utmost professional customer service and timely communication. Sue is the proud mother of 2 successful adults and 1 lovable terrier. Gordon came to the HOA management business from a commercial real estate property management background, most of that time at Cushman & Wakefield. He is originally from Memphis, majored in political science at Rhodes College and graduated from UT Knoxville law school. He has lived in Nashville since 2011 and he and his wife of six years, Renée, currently live in The Nations neighborhood with their miniature pinscher, Oskar. He is a member of the Episcopal Church of St. so you go back to Memphis, to New York, to Florida, or most recently to New Orleans.
Vickie is a native Nashvillian who brings 40 years of experience in mortgage lending, real estate, and portfolio property management to Metropolitan Properties. He holds the title of Senior Portfolio Manager and Managing Director, where he had the opportunity to train and mentor property managers early in their careers. As a testament to her growing career, Women’s Forum Magazine spotlighted Vickie and published an article about her professional achievements. Vickie enjoys traveling both domestically and internationally and enjoys planning annual trips with her daughter. He is also a Tennessee Titan fan and enjoys attending games. Vickie is a licensed realtor and recently filmed an episode of HGTV with her daughter. She and her husband Lonny call Brentwood home.
Matt is from western Kentucky and has lived in the middle Tennessee area since 2014. He is a 6 year Air Force veteran who honorably served in two deployments to the Middle East in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Matt graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Sports and Tourism Management. He brings more than 15 years of experience in corporate, commercial, and hospitality management to the property management team. When he’s not spending time with his wife and two daughters, Matt, an avid sports fan, enjoys watching the Tennessee Titans and Atlanta Braves.
Originally from Los Angeles, CA. Lori began her career in the home warranty industry as a relationship manager supporting a large real estate territory. After several visits to TN in 2010, he fell in love with the spectacular seasonal weather and beautiful Tennessee landscape. In 2011 he moved to Dickson. Shortly after, he transitioned to property management as a portfolio manager. Lori brings over 15 years of expertise in building long-lasting customer relationships. Honesty, determination, and dedication are philosophies that Aisyah strives for in all aspects of her life. His specialties are HOA document interpretation, communication, and problem solving. When not working, Lori enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She is a proud mother of two daughters and loves to bowl.

He is originally from Columbia TN, studied Finance at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and has lived in Chattanooga for almost 10 years. He and his wife, Chesney, currently live in the East Brainerd Chattanooga area with their 3 children. As a member of the Operations Department and working in Accounts Payable, Sahara brings organization and excellence to the inner workings of Metropolitan Properties. He brings 10 years of customer service experience and 6+ years of HOA bookkeeping and accounting experience. She was an outdoor enthusiast with a passion for cooking, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
Kyle was born and raised in Nashville, TN. Kyle grew up in the Glencliff area, and Graduated from Glencliff High School. Kyle has always had a passion for hands on work growing up around the world of car racing and with experience as a carpenter in the upholstery and cabinet industry.
