That’s not why I signed up for an MBA. So I quit my job, moved back to Italy and started my own digital business (lots of things happened in between, like I moved to NYC for a few months, but let’s skip that part for the short term).
I thought most of the things I learned in business school, although very useful, for a linear career path, in a company.
They weren’t that helpful to me as a digital entrepreneur. So I had to go back to study on my own, experiment a lot and in the meantime learn a lot of new things from scratch.
To make things even more interesting, I also joined a high-tech startup in 2016, for which I still lead the Enterprise unit.
